Charter Day, commemorating the three hundred and seventh anniversary of the granting of Pennsylvania to founder William Penn by England’s King Charles II, will be observed by the Penn­sylvania Historical and Museum Commission on Sunday, March 13. The historic sites and museums administered by the PHMC will be open free of charge from Noon to 5 P.M. Visitors are en­couraged to write or telephone these attractions for additional information regarding special activities and events.
