Charter Day, commemorating the granting of Pennsylvania to William Penn by England’s King Charles II, will be observed by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) on Sunday, March 13, 1994. Free admission to the PHMC’s historic sites and museums will be offered to all visitors between Noon and 5 P. M. For more information, telephone or write the nearest historic site or museum.
